Pat and I spent the weekend with Amy in Memphis this weekend. It was good to spend time with her.

The main reason for the trip was for Pat to teach Amy how to use her sewing machine. That did not happen untill Sunday morning. The demonstration did not take very long and Amy is looking foward to doing some sewing.

Pat and I watched the super bowl last night. We were glad to see the giants win. Pat even got excited near the end of the game when the giants scored and took the lead. Oscar had been excited the whole weekend and last night we finally got him to calm down, but when the giants scored to go ahead Pat got excited and that caused Oscar to get excited.

The street department started delivering the carts for trash this morning. Using the carts will change the way trash is handled in the city. I think that the city and the citizens will enjoy this new system.
